So, here are the winners for the month of January!
First up is the Cake Milk Made Velveteen Hand Creme that now has a permanent home on my nightstand because my hands tend to feel like crispy chicken fingers as the night goes on. It smells like vanilla mixed with fruit...although I can't quite pinpoint which fruit...I guess it's the mango shea? It's good stuff though, absorbs into your skin quickly and leaves them moisturized.
Secondly, is Lancome's La Laque Fever in Lucent Nude which has such amazing pigmentation for a lip gloss. I normally wear lipstick underneath before applying most lip glosses, but this guy has some massive colour power! It's thick enough that I just wear it alone and is a fantastic nude gloss.
Next, is one of my now all-time favourite perfumes, Vera Wang's Princess! I hope I never get too old to wear this! These are the notes listed as part of Princess: Water Lily, Lady Apple, Mandarin Meringue, Golden Apricot Skin, Ripe Pink Guava, Tahitian Flower, Wild Tuberose, Dark Chocolate, Pink Frosting Accord, Precious Amber, Forbidden Woods, Royal Musk Captive, Chiffon Vanilla.
And my final favourite is (are) The Body Shop All Over Shimmer Sparklers in Boudoir Pink and Enchanting Gold. I think I bought Boudoir Pink for myself and an awesome girlfriend of mine surprised me with Enchanting Gold! The bottles are oh so cute with their little "puffers" and remind me of old-fashioned perfume bottles, which I'm assuming is the fun of it. I was scared that the shimmer would be concentrated in one area because of the mode of shimmer deployment, but it's actually quite evenly distributed and gives your skin just a hint of glow.
What were your luvs for January?
