Review - Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow

Hello Beauties!

I know I'm a little late with the Maybelline Color Tattoo post since these bad boys have been around for awhile now, but I was so impressed with it that I just had to share! This is a cream eyeshadow that is supposed to last 24 hours on the eyes, although I don't think I've ever been in a situation where I'd have to where makeup for such a long time!

I only picked up the colour ""Bad to the Bronze, which is a beautiful metallic bronze, because as fun as the other colours looked, I just wasn't sure how much I would use them, especially seeing how intense the pigmentation was. I was tempted to get "Tough as Taupe" and "Bold Gold" as well, but I have such similar colours in my makeup collection already that it just didn't make sense to have more. It wasn't easy to come to that conclusion though...I must have been standing at the display for 10 minutes trying to reason with myself that I didn't need more makeup. I was so impressed with the amount of restraint I had to just buy the ONE colour! Pat on the back to me!

And here is my little EOTD with "Bad to the Bronze".

And, a little bit of a FOTD as well!

I've worn this eyeshadow both with and without primer and to be honest, it held up even when I wasn't wearing any primer, so that was a very nice little discovery. It held up for my 9 hour work day with no creasing at all. I've had cream eyeshadows in the past that just didn't hold up after a few hours so I was expecting the same type of wear from the Color Tattoo eyeshadows, but it wasn't the same experience at all! As a lot of bloggers have said, these are great eyeshadows with amazing wear and great colour. It's so easy to create a neutral eye that has a little bit of sparkle to it that combined with my new Marcelle BB Cream, I'm going to have the most effortless makeup routine ever!
