Orly–Sweet Peacock

I know, it’s strange. I don’t normally do back to back nail posts, but Flirty Tankini was chipping like crazy and coming off in almost whole pieces on both hands so I had to take off the few remaining bits and find another colour to wear. Excuse the dry cuticles, but this has got to be one of my favourite blue polishes! Here is Orly Sweet Peacock which is a rich (2 coats) metallic blue foil that was a breeze to apply. I am also really loving the rubberized cap! I never thought I would like blue, but I can’t get enough of this!

Anybody have any other “non-work appropriate” colours they love?

  1. gorgeous! I want! I love Orlys rubber caps as well- makes it so easy to open :) all polishes should be like that. or square like Julep and elf polishes! a lot of my rounded caps have teeth marks in them for a reason! haha.

  2. I'm ALL about the non-work appropriate colours :P Sometimes I wonder what my supervisor and my grad committee think when they see me with flashy nails and purple hair. But I justify it by telling myself that once I get a big girl job I'll lose the flashiness... I don't know though!

    1. I really feel like I SHOULD have been more outrageous with my nails while I was still in Biology. I think people would get a kick out of it!! I don't know, I think when you love nail polish, it will always find a place in your life :-)

  9. This instantly caught my eye! Blue is my favorite color and I always buy way too many blue polishes! And as for non-work appropriate colors, my boss loves my wacky nail polish and designs-great conversation starter :D xoxo
