Day 29–Inspired by the Supernatural

I know, this is a really late post, but I was super bummed out earlier today when someone hit my parked car as I was walking towards it and then tried to drive off!The damage was pretty bad and I have been hanging out with friends to forget about dealing with this until the morning…anyway, I just saw another adorable cutepolish tutorial for Jack Skellington and I knew this was what I had to try for today’s challenge!

If anyone is interested, these were my Halloween nails from last year!

  2. Awe Jayne! That sucks about your car! I can't believe they tried to drive off. Did you end up getting their information?

I know how you feel tho, one of our vehicles just got broken into. We keep them in a locked underground parking garage at our apartment, yet it's been broken into twice in the past 2 months.

I love your nail design though! So cute. Hope you have a good Halloween! Xx

    1. I was able to get his info. He was an older man so I don't think he even noticed that he hit something!

Oh geez, you've been broken into? I know it happens a lot in Burnaby from what my friends who live in the area say.

  3. WHAT! what ended up happening with the car situation? ugh that is ridiculous - someone recently hit my boyfriends' car when i drove it to grab some Edo. i was inside and didn't see it happen but when i came back there was a dent in the passenger side and i could not open the passenger door!
i hope you get it figured out soon (and hopefully without stressing about it too much!)

but anyways, these nails are amazing!!

    1. It was an older Asian man who didn't seem to even realize he'd hit my car...imagine finishing a 9 hour work day and coming out to see your car getting hit my someone else! We'll see how it works out over the next few days...sigh something else to deal with..

And thank you! I am loving puzzle nails at the moment!

    1. Awww, thank you!! Me and another woman had to force him to stop because I don't even think he was aware of what happened. I've never had to deal with insurance before so I'm just not looking forward to it...

  5. People are assholes, at least you seen it happen and I assume you were able to get them to stop from driving away? Sorry that happened :-( Also, did the earth quake cause any damage around Van? You survived, right? ;-)

I love this manicure, I'm thinking I will do this for Halloween day!

    1. Ugh, I know..this is just another thing to deal with...my poor baby car! We didn't feel too much of the earthquake here in Vancouver, just a little bit of swaying. We are right on the plate so the big one has been supposed to hit for awhile...

I can't wait to see your take on this for Halloween!

I'm sorry about your car, that's really poo! I don't see how people can be so inconsiderate. I hope you get it all resolved and they get punched in the face. :( Then you can leave a big dent and drive away!

    1. Thanks Christa!! I am loving puzzle nails so much!
The guy who hit my car was an older Asian gentleman and didn't even seem to know what he had done...he said it was his fault but I hope he sticks to that story when I talk to the insurance company.

    2. Oh, well as long as he sticks to that I won't go tiny ninja on him!

  9. I agree with Chrissy, I love the way your thumb nail connects with the head - so cute.
I would be so upset to if someone dented my car and tried to drive away! I would have been screaming mad! I hope it isn't too costly to fix!

    1. Thank you!
I'll be filing an insurance claim against him as my car was stationary and I wasn't even in it so hopefully I won't have to pay for anything! He was old so I couldn't get too angry at him when it happened...
