My Last Sephora Splurge for Awhile…

I was $22 away from becoming a VIB so these are the “fruits of my labours”! With the season of Christmas and gluttony behind me, I’m still looking at my huge basket of beauty Christmas goodies and trying to figure out where to put everything. I really don’t want to have move into a new place to accommodate all of my beauty acquisitions so I’d ideally like to wait until the Spring to buy anything from Sephora again. Let’s see if I can do it!

The Sephora by OPI 18K Topcoat was on sale so it was the last thing in my basket that gave me my free shipping! I think it’s a bit gimmicky, so I don’t think I would ever bought it at full price. I picked up one more MUFE Aqua Rouge Waterproof Liquid Lip Color this time in #2 which is a MUCH more wearable colour than the bright red and magenta that I own. I am actually comfortable wearing this colour on a daily basis. Ah, the infamous OCC Lip Tars! I picked this up in the colour Memento and even after checking out swatches on lips of Asian bloggers, this was NOT the right colour for me at all and I had to return it :-(

I will admit it. I fell for the floral blotting linen holder included in this Boscia Fashionably Matte Limited Edition Set! I have some of these in a vanilla scent and I love them, so I couldn’t resist a pack with different scents.

Hello to my very first Tarte blush!! I finally decided to try one and chose the Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Adored which is a more pigmented blush than I normally would go for, but I felt that I needed something much more exciting than what I already own. I have neutrals and corals, so now I need some Barbie pinks!

The beauty deal that was on at the time was for the Tarte Pure Marajuca Oil which I have heard some wonderful things about and cannot wait to indulge in. The rest are just perfume samples that seemed the most interesting out of the bunch.

So, I DID return the OC Lip Tar for…the Urban Decay Naked Nail Polish Set! The colours are so so gorgeous and I have always wanted a set of UD polishes to call my own. I am so excited to wear these!

And there you have it! I will miss you Sephora, but as the French say, a bientot!

  13. I too am wondering where to put all my beauty products!! I am using a whole bathroom cabinet just for the new products waiting to be used... O_o So I also decided to go for a "no buy" until I clear up some of that space and finish more products! That should also be good for my credit card! lol

You have some really nice products in that order! The UD polishes look amazing!!
