Day 6-Favourite Colour Family

Like many girls, I have a couple of favourite colour families namely pink, purple and blue, but since Days 4 and 5 were pink and purple, I figured I would focus more on blue. I started off with 2 coats of beautiful Essie-Butler Please.

Next, I just want a little crazy and did a bit of everything. I used some metallic marquise purple and circular pink studs given to me by KK Center HK to add a little purple and pink pizazz, but alas the marquise studs didn’t last 24 hours. Once I came from work, I had none left despite the many coats of top coat. The circular studs fared much better and have lasted a full two days!

I did a cloud mani on my middle finger using OPI-Suzi and the Dusseldorfs and Essie-Where’s My Chauffeur? and finished with OPI-Polka.Com on my thumb and pinkie which is an awesome glitter!

  1. Cute mani! I am super fond of blues too, I didn't realize it until I started cataloging, I think it may be a tie between pink and blue!

    1. Thank you! I never thought I'd be a fan of blue polish and over the last 2 years it has really become one of my favourite colours. It used to be such an "unconventional" colour, but now I can't imagine my life without it!

  9. How do you paint your nails so perfectly? No matter how slow and careful I am, I get it on my cuticles, under the nails, everywhere!!

    1. I just paint slowly, but I owe my steady hands to my time in the lab with microscopic worms ;-)

    1. Butler Please has become one of my favourite blues. It's intense, but not trashy. LOL, I'm glad you enjoyed the art! Studs aren't something I use a lot of!
