Review-KKCenterHK Marquise and Circular Studs

A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by KKCenterHK to review some nail art studs and I wholeheartedly jumped at the opportunity. There was quite a selection, so it took me awhile to narrow down my choices! I just used these in Day 6 of the 31 Day Nail Challenge and I just thought I’d share some thoughts on them since I didn’t really go into much detail in my last post.

I don’t normally use nail studs in my nail art because they just NEVER last for me and then I just end up feeling frustrated that I have studs missing on my nails, so I was interested to see whether these studs from KKCenterHK would survive.

These marquise-shaped studs were what I was most excited about as purple is one of my favourite colours, but unfortunately I lost one about two hours later despite the two coats of top coat and three more at work the next day. Needless to say, I ended up redoing my manicure. I even tried to position these on the flattest part of my nail right in the middle, but I think the thing with nail studs is that if they’re too big, they never sit flat on the nail. You would need to have very flat nail beds for these to sit well.

Now, these circular studs stayed on much longer thanks to their smaller size. They made it almost 4 days and one fell off just yesterday so I’d say these fared very nicely! They are metallic pink, but look almost gold with the polish I chose to wear it with.

Overall, I thought these nail studs were a lot of fun to wear and are a quick way to make any manicure more interesting. I preferred the smaller studs over the marquise-shaped ones, so in the future I know to choose smaller studs for my specific nail shape. KK Center HK had SO MUCH to choose from that I knew I would have to shop from them again! Next time, I want to try the water decals with celebrity faces on them! Cheesy, but they look oh so cute! Shipping took about 2-3 weeks to reach me as they are shipped from China.

Thank you for reading and I hope you guys enjoyed the review! KKCenterHK was also kind enough to give my readers 10% off their purchase with the code: cosmeticproof. Happy shopping everyone!
