Day 14–I Suck the Big One at Stamping

I don’t stamp often as I am awful at it, but I will once again share with you all my failure on Day 14 of this challenge. I started off with three coats of the ever gorgeous Layla-Ocean Rush. Application was not easy and I always forget how patchy some holographic polishes apply, but thankfully on the third coat everything evened out. Since my stamping photos are so awful, I will show you many of this one!

Okay…so here is the better hand…my RIGHT! I used the BM-208 plate for this design.

And the hand that should have been the better one…here is my left! I tried re-stamping, but it obviously doesn’t work.

I would have just said it was a fancy crackle effect ;). I love that Layla polish - you got my lemming going!

    1. LOL, I can't lie to you guys! ;-)
It's such a pretty blue, but I did have some issues with the bald spots the first two coats left behind. I even had to be careful when applying topcoat and make sure that my brush never actually touched the polish.

  2. I love the color in the holo! Stamping is so hard, so I think you did a great job at your right hand. I always try to restamp but it never works haha :)

    1. I think the double stamp gave this interesting sort of texture so in the end I was ok with it, but I really wish I could get the hang of stamping!
