Rimmel London | Lasting Finish Colour Rush in I Want Candy and All You Need is Pink with Swatches

This week is all about trying new brands and today is my first ever Rimmel London product review! In the spirit of bringing out those summer brights, today I have swatches of the new Colour Rush colour balms in #130 I Want Candy and #120 All You Need is Pink ($6.99 each) and come in a total of 14 trendy shades. The chubby lip crayon format is not going away anytime soon so luckily this is an application format I like! The colour never seems to hold up though so read on to see how these guys did!

On me, #130 leaned more on the party side and was not a colour that I felt comfortable sporting on a daily basis while #120 was a colour I felt much more at home with.

Final Verdict: The consistency of the Colour Rush balms was soft, creamy and needed 2-3 swipes across the lips to get the amount of colour I have on my lips above. There was no tugging to get colour to dispense with the crayon tip gliding across my lips with very little effort. The wear time was fairly decent for a product with a balm-like texture (about 3-4 hours) and even had a bit of shine to it. The quality is definitely comparable to any department store brand and for the price, why not just take the plunge and get yourself a couple of fun colours for the summer?
