Out of all the beauty boxes I have been subscribed to, I really look forward to the vegan ones. I am actually surprised by how many cosmetic companies there are that are actually by definition vegan. I have said before that I would never call myself a vegan or even try to attempt the lifestyle, but if I can use a vegan product and support a vegan company I will. Unfortunately May’s Box was not all that useful to me, but the visual contents is very appealing isn’t it?
Lauren Brooke Cosmetics | Lash Strengthening Mascara
Oh mascara. Like I don’t have enough of you. To be honest, I don’t really believe that lashes can be strengthened, so this will just be another sample size mascara to add to the pile.
Gourmet Body Treats | Raw Finishing Powder
This is the product that intrigued me the most because I was attracted to the pink packaging (such a girl). This is a sheer finishing powder that absorbs oil and minimizes fine lines.
Tallulah Jane | Eau de Parfum in Halona
This is a perfume oil with a lemony scent. I don’t know if I would actually wear this out, but maybe on a more casual day?
I do have stretch marks and cellulite, but for some reason I don’t actively seek out creams to eliminate them. Maybe once I have kids I will think differently, but right now this cream does not interest me. This is a full size product though so if anyone wants it, let me know!
Sevi| Blue Yarrow Sea Salt Texturizer
The summer is all about beachy texturized waves right? Well, because of that I think this is my 7th bottle of sea salt hair stuff I have received in a beauty box (my first from Vegan Cuts though). I don’t like having crunchy hair and I think I’ve only gone for the beachy waves look once. It’s just not a hair look I like for myself! This particular product does smell really good though!
Goddess Garden Organics | Sunny Body Natural Sunscreen
This is a sunscreen that uses zinc oxide so it will be thicker than chemical sunscreen, but for those who are allergic this is the perfect option.
So there you have it. The May Vegan Cuts Box was kind of a miss for me mainly because there was minimal makeup and the full size product included wasn’t for me.
The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is $19.95 plus $8 for Canadian shipping.
