“Bon Voyage” can now mean “goodbye to summer” when it comes to today’s edition of Beauty Box Weekends. It’s still sunny in Vancouver, which is rare, so I am grateful for every day where I can still slather on sunscreen and not whip out an umbrella. June’s Petit Vour had a couple of really solid products that had me pretty happy overall so let’s get into it, shall we?
EVOLVh | Ultrashine Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner
For hair that’s strong, silky and smooth, this colour-safe, nutrient-infused hair duo cares for your hair by balancing its pH level. Actives like seaweed extract, mango and apricot deliver crucial nutrients to thirsty strands, while amino acids and fatty acids restore hair from the inside out and provide rejuvenate benefits.
Thoughts: I first tried EVOLVh in my September 2012 Glymm Bag and this is the only shampoo/conditioner sample that I actually look forward to using! My hair just feels so healthy whenever I use it and while I’m not normally excited about a shampoo/conditioner set, THIS is one that I am excited to see as it’s not readily available in stores.

Mun | No. 1 Aknari Brightening Youth Serum
Prickly pear seed oil and argan oil combine to transform the appearance of your skin while soothing rose oil lightly scents your sweetest dreams.
Thoughts: I have a lot of facial oils right now and while they aren’t my favourite thing to use as most leave me feeling very greasy (except the LAVINA one).

ncLA | Nail Lacquer in Let’s Stay Forever
Pair your next ensemble with this dreamy, summery shade and enjoy a little California love on your fingertips.
Thoughts: YESSSSS! This is my very first ncLA bottle of polish! I have the nail strips, but never picked up an actual bottle for myself. This is a really soft baby blue and will be well used in nail art as I find pastels to be AWFUL on my skin tone.

TAY | Rosehip Balancing Cleanser with Seabuckthorn

Thoughts: I love the packaging! It’s so eco-looking! I wouldn’t have guessed that this was a cleanser just based on the consistency and would have been happily applying it as moisturizer!

I was happy with just the ncLA polish, but having two skincare items out of four didn’t make me as excited about this box as I could be as much I loved the packaging of the TAY cleanser. I still think Petit Vour is an amazing subscription though and would highly recommend it!
