Don’t laugh because this may be a summer box, BUT it is also my second to last Petit Vour even though I was heartbroken to end my subscription. Many reasons have gone into not talking about this box until now and if any of you were to look at my blogging history for July, it was probably one of THE quietest months for me thanks to a super terrible work situation and it’s funny how I can actually “feel” how unhappy I was through those July posts. Well, THAT took a turn for the personal so I’ll regroup and bring this post back to a really awesome Petit Vour box!

Thoughts: It’s still pretty hard to find LVX polish in Vancouver, although I did manage to pick up a few bottles of their summer collection at Winners. I’m sure I have a bubblegum creme pink just like this somewhere, but THIS one in an LVX bottle just seems so much cooler.

Modern Minerals | Mineral Eye Shadow in Sakura
Thoughts: I keep forgetting to use mineral makeup even though I was religiously addicted to it in my early 20s. Sakura is a super pretty purple/grey shade with a hint of shimmer that would actually make a great shade as part of a smoky eye.

Pelle Beauty | Face Oil
Thoughts: Eeek! I was so excited to see this Canadian company featured in this month’s PV box! I have been wanting to try their Nourish Oil after receiving Stellar in a past Chatelaine Topbox. I have been looking to facial oils as moisturizer as the weather gets more dry. Pelle Beauty oils tend to be multi-purpose with uses ranging from moisturizer to makeup remover to a primer for clay masks!

Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant | Lavender & Sage
Thoughts: Another eeek! I have been DYING to try this natural deodorant and wanted to order online, but remembered it being a bit of a hassle. As messy as it may be to stick your hands into a pot to apply your deodorant, it does dry to a non-sticky finish and smells very natural thanks to the essential oils. I am not a fan of those fruity scents often found in anti-perspirants so natural deodorants are my definite go-to.
