Let us forget that it is Christmas for a second and pretend I am just blogging like it’s just any other time of the year. Sometimes I feel like Christmas is that newly engaged friend of yours that won’t stop talking about wedding planning. Just take a break! This is my second to last Ipsy bag and seeing as how I haven’t even opened my October one, it was probably time to stop the subscription! September was all about street style, but I failed to really see a clear theme with the products I received.
Briogeo | Don’t Despair Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask
Repair and treat dry, damaged and breaking hair with Don't Despair, Repair!™ deep conditioning mask. Fortified with ultra-hydrating avocado, sweet almond & argan oils, strengthening keratin protein, power-conditioning rosehip oil, soothing aloe, and super hair-essential vitamins B5, D, A, E and biotin. This unique complex of targeted ingredients helps increase hair elasticity and moisture to prevent breakage, promotes healthy shine and lustre, and replenishes strength. Comprised of 95 percent naturally-derived ingredients. This product is free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, silicones, artificial fragrances, artificial dyes, and gluten. It is cruelty-free and contains organic ingredients.
Thoughts: This is safe for colour-treated hair so yay to the fact that I can use this. Coloured hair is still such a new thing for me that I’m so anal about taking care of it! I like that this hair mask is a 3-5 minute one because that is easy to do in the shower. 10 minute masks are way too long and I feel like I end up creating “work” for myself in the shower when I use them!
Full size: 155mL/$33 CDN (sold on Sephora.ca!)
I received: 29.57mL/$6.30 CDN
Crown Brush | Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush
This dual-ended brush offers the best of both worlds. The shadow brush is perfect for applying eye shadow or contouring the eye, while the crease brush is designed to be used dry for defining the eye, or wet for precision concealing.
I LOVE this brush. I’ve been using it for the past month and I am especially in love with the pencil brush side. It has been perfect for smoky eyes and making my eye looks a little more bold.
Full size: $6.99 USD

Hikari | Lipstick in Cabernet
Amp up the color with Hikari’s richly colored lip stick. The high pigmented formula glides on smoothly with a matte finish. Layer this formula to build color for a perfectly enchanted pout.
Thoughts: The colour of this lipstick is gorgeous and for a matte finish applies smoothly.

LeeAnni Eco | 3 in 1 Revolution Light Moisturizer
LIGHTER version of 3 in 1 Revolution. Great for normal to oily skin and during warmer weather. Toner, Serum, and Moisturizer in One. This Revolutionary Lotion will save you time during busy morning rush and moisturize your face all day long! Help tighten skin, reduce breakouts, relieve dark circles under eyes, moisturize, fight aging, treat sun damages, and calm irritated skin.
Thoughts: I am utterly fascinated by the fact that this is a 3 in 1 product. I love skincare and when a company says that their moisturizer contains a serum and toner as well, my interest definitely gets peaked.
Full size: 4.0oz/$29.98 USD
I received: 0.5oz/$3.75 USD
Pacifica | Natural Waterproof Eye Pencil in Fringe
These rich water-proof, buttery smooth eye pencils glide on smooth and deliver big color pay off with every stroke. Long-lasting natural formula, provides hours of wear and contains beneficial ingredients great for the sensitive eye area.
Thoughts: I love Pacifica products and I am always grateful to see something from them in any sub boxes. I don’t normally wear brown, so I’m not sure if I will hang on to this or gift it.
Full size: 2.8g/$11.00 USD
I received: 0.73g/$2.87 USD
I didn’t realize that Ipsy points expire so after losing 80 OF THEM, I decided to blow most of them on whatever I could resulting in these Miss Adoro lashes and eyeshadow.
Total value of September Ipsy: $32.61 (not including Miss Adoro products)
I really liked this Ipsy bag actually, but I think I just need to pull back from the beauty box scene and process what I actually have in terms of samples because it’s getting a little insane (4 IKEA malm drawers full). I loved the makeup brush the most because the quality is great for such an inexpensive brush! One more Ipsy review to go!
