I thought the Cafe Box I reviewed (here) smelled good, but this Chocolate Mania Memebox* is sensorially (real word?) more my speed. Everything smells legitimately like real chocolate which might be overkill for some, but perfect for a chocophile like myself. As I write this, I’m even eating homemade chocolate chip cookies. I’m just a beast.
Zamian | Super Gold Cacao Pack
Thoughts: This is, for lack of a better phrase, an anti-aging mask containing hyaluronic acid, gold and cocoa powder meant to provide smoother, firmer and more nourished skin. It honestly smells just like hot chocolate mix and is very creamy in texture. I wish I could see the ingredients list, but maybe I can do a little bit of sleuthing to find out everything that’s in here.

Shara Shara | Tempting Avocado Chocolate Massage Cream
Thoughts: Smells amazing and is a facial massage cream. The idea of a facial massage is to stimulate circulation and bring a natural glow to the skin. Once you’re done massaging, just rinse off. The texture is quite smooth and would be nice to use for a foot/hand massage as well.

Neogen | Code9 Gold Cacao Cream
Thoughts: This actually doesn’t smell like chocolate too much. It’s more like a sweet almond scent (thanks to the sweet almond oil) and is VERY hydrating. The second ingredient after water in this cream is cocoa seed butter and is intended for very dry, sensitive and even cracking skin. The term “facial butter” is really the perfect description for this moisturizer.

Missha | Cacao and Cream Facial Scrub
Thoughts: How cute looking is this facial scrub? This cookies and cream scrub contains sunflower and lavender oil as well as cocoa and shea butter for what is probably one of THE most moisturizing exfoliations ever!

Thoughts: This is basically a cuticle butter. It’s super thick as it is beeswax-based and as moisturizing as it is, smells more like the artificial chocolate scent.

Binucook | Cacao Choco Pie Soap
Thoughts: Looks and smells like a real choco-pie! I thought this was a soap for the body, but it’s actually for the face as it promises not to over dry and keep skin’s moisture/oil balance in check.

dearberry | Miss Mona Lisa Eyebrow Choco Brownie
Thoughts: I was not expecting to see a makeup product in here actually and no this eyebrow pencil does not smell like chocolate! I think this pencil is a wee bit too late in colour for me and not quite ashy enough so I’m going to have to donate this one. It is auto-sharpening and twist-up with what looks to be a fairly budge-proof formula based on hand swatches.

Purederm | Choco Cacao Collagen Mask
Thoughts: I haven’t tried this mask yet, but I do love sheet masks. I don’t use them nearly enough and with the 200 I have sitting in my drawer, I REALLY should get on that! Like most sheet masks, this delivers a blast of moisture to the skin and contains cocoa and witch hazel extract.

There was quite a bit of stuff in this box with my favourite products being the Zamian face mask and the Missha cookies and cream scrub. I found this Memebox to be rather fun (I know most are) and full of deliciously-scented goodies. Since I love chocolate, this box has been one my favourite curations!
