MAKEUP | Dior Diorskin Tie Dye Edition Blush in #001 Pink Sunrise and #002 Coral Sunset Review & Swatches

When it came to the release of the Dior Tie Dye Summer Collection, it was really the Diorskin Nude Tan blushes that stole the show. Nothing gets beauty lovers more excited than beautifully embossed blushes like the limited edition Pink Sunrise* ($57.00 CDN) and Coral Sunset* each with four shades that fuse together to give skin the perfect blend of sun-kissed radiance. Also, they are SO PRETTY to look at! I can’t even…gah they are so gorgeous!

The packaging is a weighty, shiny silver compact with a magnetic closure. As perfectly stunning as this compact is, the fingerprints that this compact attracts is ridiculous! Included is a velvet pouch to prevent this prized stallion from getting scratched, but keeping the case pristine really is a futile effort.

Pink Sunrise is an iridescent blend of pinks, mauves and rose intended for those with lighter complexions though with adequate layering, even a medium skin tone could really see some colour payoff. Coral Sunrise was my favourite of the two as I LOVED how beautifully the orange complimented the pink. Orange tends to look so scary in the pan, but really warmed up my skintone. I absolutely loved it! Click here to see Coral Sunset in action on my face!

Final verdict: I know…these are pretty expensive, but look how gorgeous they are! Limited edition, gorgeously embossed beauty collector’s items is what these are. Yes, this is also actually a good product on top of looking like a piece of artwork, so for any beauty lover either of these shades will be a welcome addition into your blush collection,, but if you aren’t one to care for all of this prettiness, then please save yourself the $57 and let one of us crazies have it.

What is the most crazy beauty purchase you have made?
