Beginning this month, Formula X has teamed up with 10 iconic #ColorCurators (I will spell it the American way) for each month to express their signature style through limited edition nail colours. January starts off with Aimee Song of Song of Style and three perfectly sweet pastel shades that are classic, timeless and look good on any skintone. Using all three shades as well as The System from Formula X, I decided to go with a classic nail art manicure in the form of a DOTTICURE!
Girl's Best Friend* is a soft feminine pink that I was scared would not be opaque enough for dotting, but I was delightfully wrong! It is gloriously opaque and is a shade I will certainly have to wear on its own!
I own a couple of mint green polishes and they are ALL streaky on the first coat no matter how much I have shelled out for the brand. Not the case with Mintfluencer*! On the first coat, I could have stopped when I was swatching this shade on my polish wheels. If you are looking for an awesomely opaque mint polish, look no further than this one!
Though Nude For You* is considered the perfect nude, I find it just a touch too light for my skin tone. I like my nudes just a little bit darker to contrast with my skin tone a bit more. I am wearing two coats and though the formula felt a bit thick upon application, it evened out once topcoat was applied.
