NAILS | "Linear Love" with Trust Fund Beauty #ManiMonday

In a galaxy far far away, I was introduced to a then relatively unknown brand called Trust Fund Beauty in 2014 at a blogger lunch and have reviewed a couple of TFB polishes in the past (here) with the holos being some of my favourites. Fast forward to just two years later and this Montreal-based vegan brand has exploded and expanded to include even lipsticks in their product line up! TFB has always had a sense of humor and fashion savvy vibe to their polishes so I wanted to do a chic, slick manicure that captured that brand essence!

Linear or tape manicures tend to look incredibly slick without even trying to be and don't even take all that long to do! For today's Mani Monday, I started off with three thin coats of Trust Fund Beauty Rude Nudes*, pink-toned nude, and then painted a quick dry top coat over top. I used the Julep Freedom Polymer Top Coat which can cause some shrinkage, but because I was going to apply another coat of polish it was a non-issue.

Once my nails were completely bone dry, I carefully applied striping tape both vertically and horizontally. I painted one coat of Trust Fund Beauty Gossip Mag*, a bright orange red, that was gloriously shiny and opaque in just ONE coat. This is a stunning polish!

All of these photos are without top coat so you can see how shiny Gossip Mag truly is!
