NAILS | "Splitting Orange" with the OPI Retro Summer Collection #StayPolished

I actually never thought the OPI Retro Summer Collection would make it to me after a month of being held by Fedex. There was some logistical mishap that made me give up on getting it delivered at all, but late last month, it just appeared at my door. It's a beautiful and summery collection filled with brights and candy colours that I will make my way through over the next two months because there will be A LOT more nail art to come! I haven't worn orange polish in awhile even though I love the colour so I thought this manicure would be a tribute to orange!

This split-style manicure was inspired by a photo I saw on the Jinsoon polish feed and was fast and straightforward to do. I started off with two coats of OPI - I'm Getting a Tan-gerine*, a pale orange nude creme, on the pinky and index nails followed by a "C" shape on the middle nail making sure to leave a sizeable gap in the middle.

Continue with two coats of the intensely coral OPI - SPF XXX* right out to the thumb for symmetry. I added the studs because my husband said that because of my colour choices, my "keyhole" looked more like an entrance to the "lady parts". MEN.

Apply a top coat and you are done!

The OPI Retro Summer Collection is available now at salons, www.nailpolishcanada.com and select retailers.
