MAKEUP | Lise Watier Baiser Satin in Natural Kiss, Inferno Kiss and Red Hot Kiss Swatches and Review

I have been crushing on lip products lately and my theme has been "the brighter, the better"! With the beginning of the Lunar New Year this weekend, I feel even more invigorated to be more adventurous with lip colours though some mornings when it's 6am, it feels REALLY strange to be putting on a red hot lip!

While I have generally preferred wearing lipstick with gloss on top, the trend of ever pigmented liquid lipsticks continues and while I found the matte finishes finicky, the satin finish seems to be the happy medium that I can get on board with. The Lise Watier Baiser Satin ($28.00 CDN)) lipsticks are one of the most luscious formulas I have ever used! With a semi-matte finish the glides on smoothly, I don't ever find myself feeling the need to add moisture or exfoliate areas that are dry enough to peel!

I have three beautiful shades that I have been sporting as of late: Red Hot Kiss*, Natural Kiss* and Infernal Kiss* and I know I must have more as there are so many beautiful shades in between! With 12 shades so far, I know Lise Watier will be adding more!

The applicator is a standard doe-foot with a small reservoir for holding just the right amount of product.

The initial finish of the Baiser Satins is fairly glossy, but over time does wear off to the promised satin finish. I wear Red Hot Kiss and Natural Kiss (lip swatch here) the most, but they really are all gorgeous.

Final verdict:
Don't get me wrong, I adore these lipsticks, but I do have one complaint and that it is that they move around more than I would like. Yes, the colour is long-lasting, but for some reason that satin finish makes colour transfer still a possibility. I found some on my chin after eating lunch so the it's not like the product hadn't had time to set. Maybe my lunch had oil in it? Regardless, don't let that stop you from trying these out because these are incredibly comfortable to wear while delivering some amazing colour!
