Lush is back this year with some old favourites and brand new additions to their Valentine's Day collection! I love that Lush has some great ads celebrating all inclusive love and that when it comes to acceptance, Lush is always one of the first to be proactive about it so yay Lush!
The new Lovestruck Bubble Bar* ($8.65 CDN) is a real cutie patootie of a bubble bar with its heart-shaped eyes and wide pink grin. This is a citrus-scented bubble bar with lemon and geranium filling your tub. Normally, I can break my bubble bars in half to have double the fun, but this guy refused to give so I happily used him whole!
The new Love Spell Massage Bar* ($8.95 CDN) is made of fair trade cocoa butter and is a floral heaven of rose hip syrup, carnation absolute and neroli oil. This bar melts easily onto the skin while gently massaging sore muscles and moisturizing skin with actual hearts of love. This is much better than that time I gave my husband a back rub with the Snow Fairy massage bar. He was bright pink and glittery by the end of it and I could not stop laughing!
The message behind the new Two Hearts Beating as One Luxury Bath Melt* ($10.95 CDN) is so sweet and though I wish I could have shown you all how these two hearts interlock, one of them broke while I was putting them together :-( Bath melts are a newer addition to my Lush bath routine and are something I use when I just want a simple bath with no bubbles, but just moisture. Each coral and magenta half is made of fair trade organic cocoa butter and almond oil and is a blend of ylang ylang and rose oil. Definitely a more sultry and romantic scent! These melts feel so smooth once in the water and leave my skin feeling like silk.
The Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb* ($7.95 CDN) is the only one I haven't used yet (I can't have baths all the time!), but is the one I look forward to using the most because it is like an onion - full of layers and surprises. As the outer rose shell fizzes away, it releases REAL yellow rose petals and mineral sea salt into the water! I mean, seriously. Could it GET any better than that?
