BATH | Easter with Lush!

I hope you all have already gotten a chance to grab a few of these Lush Easter goodies because I didn't get a chance to go to the post office until two days ago and then of course I had to work and could not take pretty photos of product. Lush goodies disappear fast, but I'm still seeing quite a bit of stock left online so you should be good if you can't make it to a store! I don't need to say that this year Lush has added some extra cute things to their Easter line up because they literally do this EVERY year with every collection, but really. THIS year is truly the cutest.

Old favourites like the Golden Egg are back (see last year's Lush Easter collection here) which I highly recommend for the glittery, toffee-scented fun in the bath tub, but of course I am all about what is NEW so let's start with what's new for "in the tub"!

In classic Easter fashion, Lush isn't Lush without surprise eggs with Which Came First? Bath Bomb* ($12.95 CDN) and Chick 'N' Mix Bath Bomb* ($10.95 CDN) being some of the most adorable additions. Which Came First comes in a spotted and striped design and when you crack open the egg, comes with two additional mini bath bombs! This is a citrusy bath tub fizzer and will leave you with fuchsia waters, but just a warning that this one is a bit of a tub-stainer so do a quick rinse off after you're done!

I think Chick N' Mix was probably the one that everyone saw and had to have this year because now you've got the ultimate Easter trifecta - eggs, chicks and a baby rabbit inside! You can either use up the WHOLE bath bomb at once to get a blast of citrus and tonka or in three separate baths for a subtle, relaxing sweetness.

I have a problem with Lush lip scrubs in that I buy every flavour that comes out even though I am still working on one pot from 2011! This year's flavour is a mix of dark chocolate and orange! As someone who can engulf an entire Terry's Chocolate Orange, I could not wait to try this out and it was just as good as I had imagined! Made with castor sugar, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, sweet orange and jojoba oil, this Chocolate Lip Scrub* ($9.95 CDN) NEEDS to be a permanent addition!

Flopsy* ($9.95 CDN) is one of the weirdest and most wonderful of this year's new additions because I just assumed this was a shower jelly, but oh my gosh it's a face wash! A jelly face wash! Made of seaweed gel, almond oil and glycerin, this face wash unfolds to reveal its true nature - an Easter Bunny!

Lush Easter Collection Review

Smelling like lemons and bergamot, the first thing I had to look up was how to use this. Some people cut up the whole bunny and others lopped off the ears and created a lather by rubbing the ears between their hands like a bar of soap. I eventually opted for this method as the smaller chunks kept slipping out of my hands. This face wash jelly doesn't really dissolve with water so even though I took a chunk about the size of a quarter, I ended up having to place it back into the container because I got my lather and still had the jelly leftover in my hands. This was effective at removing light makeup, but anything heavier like a slight smoky eye or long-wearing foundation needed a second cleanse.

Another wonderful Easter collection from Lush and if you haven't picked some items up already please give any of these a go and while Flopsy can look a little scary, everything really is so much fun for everyone. I don't think I will ever tire of how innovative Lush is with their products. They always do something a little different.
