EASTER | Lush Limited Edition Easter Goodies!

Honestly, I love writing about Lush collections because it's just so darn easy to be in such a good mood the ENTIRE time I'm writing. Each product smells and looks so cute that you can't help, but feel happy. I say this with every Lush collection, but really THIS ONE is the cutest! I actually have some crazy favourites this year. Like on par with Scrubee favourite!

Let's start with the stuff that bubbles and fizzes! Lots of new fun ideas and old classics that any Lush lover would enjoy. I am looking at all of these bright colours and simultaneously looking forward to and dreading the ring of colour and glitter that I will need to scrub off my tub...

THESE GUYS. These new Bubbleroons* ($5.95CDN) smell fantastic and come in three different "flavours": blue = mint, pink = spearmint and yellow = shea butter. While the shea butter scent isn't an uncommon one for Lush, I was surprised to see a mint and spearmint scent as I can't recall ANY Lush product being strongly minty and I think it is fantastic! Like many of you, I cannot live without Saje's Peppermint Halo headache remedy so getting to have a bubble bath that can truly clear my head is truly a godsend.

Where are the fidget spinners now? I actually picked up one of Lush's plastic-free bath bomb fidget spinners at the beginning of the year and found the concept of a spinning bath bomb quite fun! The Seven Deadly Sins Bath Bar* ($5.95 CDN) is reusable and produces swirling golden waters with a lemony orange scent! I mean, how adorable?!

The Golden Egg*($7.95 CDN) is a bath bomb melt that is scented in the same yummy toffee flavor as Honey, I Washed the Kids! It smells so creamy and delicious and it's no wonder this shimmering delight is brought back every year! The bathwater is gorgeously glittery and you will emerge from your bathtub feeling seriously uplifted!

This cocoa butter-based bath bomb is another new release called April Showers* ($7.95 CDN) and is a woodsy scent of cedarwood and cypress oils. I can see my husband liking this scent or someone who isn't as into sweet scents, but I am not one of those people. I never dislike any scent from Lush, but April Showers is not one of my favourites even though the thought of throwing a fluffy cloud into my bath makes me smile like you wouldn't believe!

So, my mom has a HUGE tattoo sleeve of angry koi swirling on her arm which is what made me gravitate towards the new bubble bar, Poisson d'Avril* ($10.95 CDN)! This is a spicier smelling bar scented with cinnamon leaf and black pepper and is quite invigorating! The eye on this guy is a little scary and seems to follow me wherever I look, but it is a a bubble bath I look forward to having!

The Bunch of Carrots* ($8.95 CDN) bubble bars are another returning favourite and by far, one of the BEST deals around. These are reusable and all you do is pick one of your favourite shades or use them all (they smell like lemon and bergamot) and run it under the tap to get those bubbles going. Once you have enough bubbles, set your carrots aside to dry for next time! You can easily get three baths out of these!

We've got another Naked Shower Gel in our midst! This is a new scent that I adore because it smells like a SUPER orange! Here Comes the Sun* ($9.95 CDN) is a glorious blend of mandarin, tangerine and bergamot essential oils as well as fair trade shea butter and St. John's Wort infusion to soothe skin. I have featured Naked Shower Gels before, but what I love about these is that because they are like extra concentrated soaps, they last twice as long as a regular bar soap!

Speaking of bar soaps, the Carrot* ($4.95 CDN) has been a fun one in our household as we are literally down to a verrry tiny sliver after just 2 weeks of use. This is a carrot infusion and cocoa butter soap that is a blend of cedarwood and tangerine and left my skin moderately hydrated. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed using this!

The Wash Behind Your Ears Shampoo Bar* ($7.95 CDN) is one of the cutest shampoo bars I have ever seen and is a more clarifying shampoo bar that also promotes shiny hair with lemon and carrot oils. I am a bit scared to use this on my coloured hair as clarifying shampoos tend not to agree with my now dying hair colour and dry scalp.

We end with some more bath bombs with the new Free Rangers* ($9.95 CDN) two in one bath bombs that leave your bath water swirling in super fun bright colours. There are three chicks to choose from, but all have the same sweet blackcurrant and bergamot oil scent! Finally we end with the three in one Which Came First?* ($12.95 CDN) bath bombs released last year that when cracked open reveal a little treat in the form of a mini bath bomb! You will love the pink and yellow bathwater swirls that come out of this!
