SKINCARE | Dr. Althea Pure Grinding Cleansing Balm #LunarJanuary

Dr. Althea Pure Grinding Cleansing Balm

I need a cleansing balm like I need another "neutral palette", but for some reason I was immediately taken in by the Dr. Althea Pure Grinding Cleansing Balm. Though I do not believe Dr. Althea is the first to do this type of mechanism, I liked the brand's sheet masks and the fact that I could purchase this through my favourite Korean online beauty store Bellbees

SHEET MASK | Dr. Althea Natural Brightening Velvet Mask

The FaceTory subscription used to include sheet masks from all different brands which I loved. Now, FaceTory has eliminated all third party brands and their subscription solely focuses on their house brand which is quite nice, but the main reason I liked the subscription was to discover fantastic sheet mask brands like Dr. Althea! This brand has won me over with their packaging (whether it's square or rectangular), their unique ingredients and the way their masks fit.

I will admit that packaging again was what gravitated me towards this Dr. Althea mask, but I have also always had great luck with this brand and had no doubts about this sexy-looking two-stepper!

SHEET MASK | Dr. Althea Herb Therapy Velvet Mask

Dr. Althea Herb Therapy Velvet Mask Review

It took me a long time to finally use this mask because the packaging was so pretty and I was constantly using it in photos for flatlays! I received this quite awhile ago in my FaceTory subscription, but it was one that I was looking forward to using because Dr. Althea has some of the nicest fitting and feeling sheet masks. This had the word "velvet" in it, so obviously I wanted it on my skin!

SHEET MASK | Dr. Althea Premium Squalane and Conditioning Silk Masks

This is going to sound crazy, but now that I've tried so many sheet masks (and will continue to try more in my lifetime until I am but a little Asian prune) it takes a lot to catch my eye. What caught my eye with these two Dr. Althea sheet masks was the fact that the packaging was metallic and...horizontal. I just thought it was interesting even though it's all just a matter of perspective, but I also had heard good things about Dr. Althea and had used one or two sheet masks through my FaceTory subscription and had a positive experience. I was also really curious about just HOW silky these masks would be and now I wish I could have my sheets made with this sheet mask!
