SHEET MASK | Garnier Skinactive Super Hydrating and Brightening Moisture Bomb

Garnier Skinactive Super Hydrating and Brightening Moisture Bomb
Purchased by me

I am getting to enjoy a true long weekend like a "regular person" today as I had requested yesterday off to attend a friend's bridal shower and now I have today and Family Day off so I am using it to do some blog and house chores catch up! Hopefully, I will not fall asleep as that's usually what happens on my days off when I try to get everything done all at once! This is actually the first day I have had off in over 2 weeks where I have the whole day to myself!

I have not been sheet masking much this month as I keep having some very late nights where after I have a shower it's 10:30pm and I just don't feel like using a sheet mask for another 30 minutes, but this one from Garnier was one of the last ones I used that I wanted to review and I kind of liked it!

What makes this mask special? This mask contains a solid concentration of vitamin C and lemon extract to brighten! Note that this mask is also compostable! One thing I just noticed on the front of the packaging was a little trademark for "MB Magic Mask" which is a L'Oreal trademark indicating that the mask is made in Asia and from plant materials which might explain the softer mask quality compared to Garnier masks from prior to 2020.

Mask Summary:

Price: It ranges, but on average this mask is around $3-4 CDN

What it does: Hydrates and brightens

Scent: Floral

Essence Type: Clear and lightly viscous

Duration: 30 minutes

Thickness: Thin

Mask Fit: Quite nice! Very much like an Asian style sheet mask and has improved significantly from when these sheet masks first launched!

Tackiness: Light-medium

Hydration: I did not feel like I had to apply moisturizer so I would say the hydration levels were good!

Other notes: Lots of essence in package - equivalent to a bottle of serum approximately 30mL

Final verdict:
I would definitely pick more of these masks up if they are on sale (which happens often)! They are a little on the tackier side, so I would probably stick to using these in the drier winter months, but hydration was good and my skin looked happy and bright afterwards so I think with prolonged usage, this will be a great mask to incorporate into my routine!

Have a Happy Sunday and Family Day long weekend for those who have one!
