I am very excited to share today's mani with you because it is the first time I get to try BKIND's nail polishes! BKIND is a Quebec-based, woman-owned, vegan and plant-based beauty brand and in today's economy and trade war sitch, I am all about supporting Canadian brands! While I will have a separate post for BKIND's hair products and skincare, the nail polishes were the first products I literally GRABBED!

All BKIND nail polishes are vegan, 77% plant-based and 21-free (whoa!) and made with hexanal and bioceramics that are intended to help nails feel healthier over time. There are soooo many colours to choose from and while I was sent four, I have a shopping cart with 10 more so it is very possible that you will see more BKIND polishes in the future because the ones featured today were REAL NICE.

Luckily the shades I was sent all went together so I was able to put together this super pretty mermaid scales gradient using a decal and the makeup sponging technique. I think it turned out well! The base coat of Aquarius was opaque in two coats and experienced no shrinkage after my top coat was applied.
