I honestly do not know what is happening to my nails, but they were constantly breaking in Montreal and then started looking super dry. I have a feeling living in AC conditions contributed to both my sore throat and my dry nails that week and I am still recovering - on both fronts!
I debated even posting these nails because they really don't do the polish justice as it is a really lovely neutral dusty pink creme. In real life, I found that the polish kind of blended in with my skin tone which on the one hand was good when the nail polish started to chip as it barely showed, but as someone who loves her nail polish, I like it to POP. I am wearing two coats and I think this shade would look great with glitter or another shade of pink so I will attempt this once my beautiful claws grow back!
The other reason I decided to wear this colour was because I wanted to take some jewelry photos in the Chaumet boutique (I am the boutique manager) and they prefer neutral or bare nails if possible. Though that usually does not coincide with how I usually like wearing my nails, while they are growing back neutral nail polish shades work well at hiding all the breaks and uneven shapes.
It's Fall. How are we already MORE THAN halfway through the year?
