SHEET MASK | Banobagi Gold Propolis and Baby Face Injection Masks

Press samples

I am currently at home fighting off a silly spring cold that has been the slowest at making its way through my body as it started with a faint sore throat on Thursday and then now I am sniffly and coughing a bit. It hasn't progressed more than that, but I am still very sneezy and itchy. I am really trying to baby myself because I have a facial booked at Skoah tomorrow that I have REALLY been looking forward to for the last two weeks so I will see how it goes tomorrow and if I have to reschedule my appointment, so be it, but I will be so sad.

It has been awhile since I have tried some new-to-me sheet masks and while going through my stash of untrieds, I came across these Banobagi injection masks with their attractive packaging and decided that THESE were the ones to try!

What makes this mask special? Contains 24K gold, honey, propolis and royal jelly, peptides and mushroom extract all within the first nine ingredients which is fantastic! This mask also has a very cool gold pattern on it!

Apparently, this foil pattern is supposed to enhance absorption, but I have my doubts so I will just enjoy this pretty honeycomb pattern as is!

Mask Summary:

Price: $4 USD

What it does: Improves skin elasticity

Scent: Faintly floral

Essence Type: Clear, lightly viscous

Duration: 20-30 minutes

Thickness: Thin-medium

Mask Fit: Pretty good! I like that the nose piece was short and I did not need to fold it up!

Tackiness: Very light, but it did take a few hours for the essence to absorb

Hydration: Just right! Only needed to add a tiny bit of moisturizer on top!

Other notes: N/A

What makes this mask special? This mask contains niacinamide, peptides and a whackload of amino acids from the Edelweiss plant to improve the texture of the skin as well as improve firmness and elasticty. Again, all of these delicious ingredients are all in the top half of the ingredients list!

Mask Summary:

Price: $4 USD

What it does: Improves skin texture, firmness and elasticity

Scent: Faintly floral

Essence Type: Clear, lightly viscous

Duration: 20 minutes

Thickness: Thin-medium

Tackiness: Very light

Hydration: Nice!

Other notes: Not a lot of essence in package so the mask was drier than I was expecting.

Final verdict: Oooh, I loved both masks! That foil pattern was an extra bonus that made it fun! They hydrated my skin, made it feel bouncy without tackiness and the mask fit was also really good!
