I admit that I really put my deodorant through the ringer as it needs to start working the night before my workday! I take my showers at night and I read a tip a few years ago to apply both my deodorant and dry shampoo the night before and it has actually worked wonders! I wake up feeling more fresh and anything that cuts down on my morning "get-ready" time is one I am totally onboard with!

While this is not a new product, the L'Occitane Cédrat Deodorant Stick deodorant has gotten a makeover in brand new packaging that to me, looks less masculine and more soothing to the eye. The old packaging felt like it was part of a completely different brand!
This is my first time ever trying a deodorant from L'Occitane and I don't think it will be my last! I have always enjoyed L'Occitane body products and if anything, I really think this is where the brand shines..
Formulated without alcohol or aluminum salts, this solid stick goes on clear, applies smoothly and dries fast. Deodorants that are "wet" can be a little annoying sometimes, but depending on which one, I will tolerate it (like my beloved Apothekari Roll-On that I see has been discontinued).
Cedrat is a sweet lemon scent with the heart note being lemongrass and base note being musk - a combination that I see people seemingly in love with, but for some reason, I don't smell the citrus. To me, it smells pretty masculine and musky though the scent does fade within a minute so it's not like I am smelling it all day. Eventually it fades to a very faint floral and does work all day at keeping me from smelling unpleasant even on the most stressful of days.

I also let Buster smell Cedrat and he seemed better with it than I did! He let me come pretty close!
Final verdict: I like this, but I would get it in a different scent. I also like that there are refills so I feel like I would buy a refill of a scent I would probably prefer more and pop into this container!
