December 2012 Beauty Box 5

And the lateness of the beauty box subs continues! There was a beautiful product/Christmas card that was so sweet with its well wishes and thank yous. It made me feel so appreciated as a subscriber and was very thoughtfully worded. Now, let’s pretend it’s still December and see what BB5 has brought me for Christmas!

Jean Pierre Cosmetics Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Pads

Exfoliate your aging anxieties away with these alcohol-free, hypoallergenic facial cleansing pads. They’re also great for removing makeup too!

Thoughts: I have mentioned before that I love using facial wipes and I am very curious about these ones as they have microbeads for cleansing in them. I can’t wait to use them!

Full size: 16 pads/$1.99

Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush

Great brushes = flawless finishes! Perfect for applying powder AND liquid, the super soft synthetic fibers in this brush are great for providing buildable yet seamless coverage.

Thoughts: I really like Everyday Minerals eye shadow brushes and I am happy to have the flat top brush to add to my collection! The bristles are so soft and feel glorious on my face.

Full size: $12.99

Made to target a variety of beauty woes, these delicate fiber masks deliver targeted blends of vitamins and nutrients. Just open, unfold and apply!

Thoughts: I have tried three MaskerAide masks already and LOVE THEM, so when I saw “Weather Warrior” in my BB5 I could not wait to give it whirl! I feel like I am excited about every product in this box which is a great sign!

Full size: 1 face mask/$4.99

OFRA Cosmetics 3D Eye Shadow in Diamond Glitz

Let those pretty peepers do the talking with these multi-tonal, pigment-packed wet/dry shadows. Three different colour pearls give them a 3D effect that everyone will be lusting after!

Thoughts: What a cool colour! It reminds me of dragon scales! It’s brown, but has a greenish hue to it in the light.

Full size: 4g/$19.90

I received: *FULL SIZE*

Demeter Roll On Perfume Oil in Cherry Blossom

Thoughts: Demeter always makes the most unique fragrances and although “Cherry Blossom” is not the most unique, this smells sweet and floral. It is a perfume oil, so you do have to rub the oil into your skin.

Full size: 8.8mL/$10.00

  2. I got the first two BB5s when they first launched and always forget about them...but when I see a review pop up, they do seem like they send out pretty decent things. I might resub if I weren't making myself stick to my current 3.

  5. I loved this box as well...every little thing was perfect!! BB5 makes me excited. They're the only company that I am considering signing up a full year for! BTW..I'm always slow on my beauty boxes. :P

  6. BB5 has looked consistently great. I'm only getting Topbox regularly now but after all the waiting I'm finding it a bit underwhelming, I may have to make the switch!

    1. I think Topbox was better at the beginning and once they let everyone sign up, the calibre of products went down...it's too bad. Maybe the Prive boxes will help them out...

    1. I've been using the brush for foundation the last few days and it just feels so soft on my skin! BB5 has been great and although they had a slow start at the beginning, they've really outdone themselves over the last little while. I highly recommend them!
