I have thought about doing an all-time favourites post for 2012, but it was just too difficult to narrow it down to just a few products! Generally, I think it’s safe to say that if a product showed up in a Luvs post, it’ll be a favourite for awhile!
Lush Big Sea Salt Shampoo
I can see why Lushies love this! It smells so refreshing as its made with sea salt (gives her volume), lime juice (makes hair shine) and extra virgin coconut oil and avocado butter for added softness. The price can be a little scary, but believe me, it is so worth it! I have shoulder-length hair and a nickel-sized amount of shampoo gets me a good lather and gives my hair some much needed volume. My hair just feels so GOOD after using Big and I have all of you lovely Lushies to thank for recommending this shampoo time and time again!
Lancôme Miracle
I received this in a gift set from a very good friend of mine (you know who you are!) and aside from how girly and pink the fragrance is, I love how this smells. It has top notes of lychee and freesia, middle notes of magnolia, jasmine, ginger and pepper and base notes of musk and amber. Lychee makes Miracle one of all-time favourite fragrances!
Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder in Light
Along with the Smashbox blush I picked up, I have been using this on my face every single day of December and now still! I really should do a more thorough review of this, but in a nutshell, this is supposed to be an anti-aging perfecting powder which is something I have never heard of before. What I love about this is that it just gives me a radiant, flawless-looking face while taking away some of the redness around my nose and mouth. It’s so light that no matter how much I put on my face, it never looks caked on. This can be used as a light foundation or a finishing powder.
Smashbox Blush Rush in Flush
I’ve talked a lot about this blush in the past when I picked up it at the last Shoppers redemption event. Suffice it to say, I used the blush every single day of December to give myself a hint of a healthy glow. This isn’t the most pigmented blush which makes it a little bit different than some of the bolder blushes I own.
Fresh Sugar Advanced Lip Therapy
With their signature sugary lemon scent, this is an anti-aging lip treatment claiming to repair, nourish, plump, and smooth wrinkles around the delicate lip area. I have put this on every night before I go to bed and my lips stay completely hydrated right through until morning. It has the same thick, moisturizing balm feel as the other tinted lip balms and cocoons my lips, shielding them from dryness.
Mac Amplified in Fast Play
These are my FIRST MAC products, can you believe it?? I only purchased these in October and I figured I would start with some of their classic lip products! Fast Play is a great every day colour for work, creamy, pigmented and has around a 5 hour wear-time on me.
Mac Lipglass in Viva Glam VI
I have heard so much about these uber sticky wonderful glosses for years and cannot believe I have only picked one up now! This pairs wonderfully with Fast Play and has a hint of pink glitter in it. It's sticky, so it lasts around 3 – 4 hours on me. This is yet another great everyday colour.
And those are my favourites! I almost don’t want to try anything new for January because I love these guys so much!
A little bit of a warning with MAC lip products, one you start you can't stop! lol. I have quite a bit of a collection of MAC lipsticks and I just adore them! :)

DeleteWhat, your first MAC products?? My makeup addiction started with MAC (I actually think that Viva Glam VI may have been one of my first lipglass purchase too) and I can't imagine living without it! You have a lot of catching up to do... which may mean not so good things for your wallet ;)
