Like Naomi, I am running out of ideas and steam as well! I didn’t really have a lot of time for today’s design so I decided to use the flag of Switzerland as my inspiration. My reason? It was my fiancé's suggestion! Instead of using a regular creme red, I decided to use a holo red called Prize by Nubar and then I painted on the white cross with acrylic paint. There is actually a coat of Glitter Gal – Light as a Feather, a white holo polish on top of the white, but you can barely see it :( This isn’t my proudest moment in terms of nail art, but it’ll do for today! At least I have a red holo on my nails which makes me happy!

LOL Wise decision that you came up with that flag. It's so easy I guess and not so time consuming. Still, gorgeously done!

Thank you, I was just too exhausted from work!
DeleteI think it would look outstanding to have an accent nail that is with a solid red base. But all in all, it doesnt look like you're uninspired at all! you did your nails really well!
ReplyDeleteThat's actually a really good idea! It was so late at night that I just made a split decision and went with it!
DeleteWhy no Canadian flag, Jayne? ;) I loveeeee that Nubar polish... such holo-y goodness!

Maple leafs are damn hard to draw!!!
DeleteIsn't Prize gorgeous??
You did really well with this! I like that you used glitter rather than just a plain red, it's unique! I probably would've took the easy way and only done an accent nail with the cross, haha.
ReplyDeleteThat's what Casey said to do and I was like,"Nope, doing them all!"
DeleteBeautiful! I like that you used a holo for this! It makes it look exciting! :D
ReplyDeleteThe holo at least makes it a little bit more interesting!
DeleteOMG that red is awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool, isn't it??
Deletethis manicure make me hungry haha! it oddly reminds me of jelly/gummy candies.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! It's a very juicy colour!
