Purchased by me
I know, I know. I really should stop this subscription, but I do love the surprise of the products and so far, I have been enjoying most of the products in my Ipsy bags. I do every other month now just to slow down the influx of products as well as save a little bit of money. I am about to catch up though with my Ipsy bag reviews as I would like to keep all the 2025 Glam Bag reviews actually WITHIN the year 2025! Firstly, I will start off by saying that I enjoyed the design of May's bag as this blue and white canvas print really makes me feel like it's summer (which I now know is technically over).
PURLISSE BEAUTY | AHA + PHA Flash Facial Exfoliating Mask

I love Purlisse and only wish they were more readily available in Canada as their SPF moisturizer is one of my favourites and I only got a bottle when I was part of the Ipsy Creators back in 2016. This is a gentle exfoliating mask with kiwi and lychee enzymes that brighten and smooth while calming the skin. Chemical exfoliation is something I still don't do regularly as I still love a scrub, but I know that now that I'm in my 40s, a more gentle exfoliation is really the way to go. This is a great mask to wear for 10-15 minutes while cleaning up after dinner and then I just hop into the shower and rinse off! With my skin type, I use this 1-2x/2 weeks depending on how congested my skin feels. I received a DELUXE SAMPLE of this product which retails for $11.40 USD.
ALAMAR COSMETICS | Mini Bronzer in Always Summer
Alamar Cosmetics is a Latina-owned brand and this is one thing I like about the Ipsy subscription - the exposure to Latina brands since there aren't as many in Canada. This is a cute little mini bronzer that is talc-free and infused with hyaluronic acid. As scary as it looks in the pan (I totally forgot to swatch for this post!), it swatches as a warm and coppery shade with a slight glow. I didn't think it would be for me, but it's actually QUITE lovely! I received a DELUXE SAMPLE of this product which retails for $15.00 USD.
ELIZABETH MOTT | Sure Thing! Vitamin C Eye Cream

I have received this brand before in previous Ipsy Glam bags and enjoyed her products especially the Vitamin C cleanser! It smelled SOOOO good! I have actually been looking specifically for a tinted eye cream in the morning to use in place of concealer as I don't use concealer often because I find it high maintenance to prep and set. I tend to only use it as a spot foundation in the summer. This eye cream contains vitamin C, niacinamide, peptides and fermented postbiotics (not too sure how useful this is) and has a slight tint to it and has a very light texture which is perfect for my morning routine. It is also quite gentle and does not irritate my undereyes. I received a DELUXE SAMPLE of this product which retails for $5.33 USD.
KVOSSNYC | Lip Luxe Luxurious Lipstick in Sugar Hill
This is a vegan brand that is new to me and when I saw this shade of lipstick I knew I would like it! Sugar Hill is a "cool, neutral pink nude" with highly pigmented satin finish. I feel like we have all been so into glosses and oils that I have forgotten what a truly pigmented, old school lipstick feels like and I was all for it! The colour was flattering for every day and soooo smooth to apply while delivering a punch of colour. I received a FULL SIZE of this product which retails for $27 USD.
E.L.F COSMETICS | Lash XTNDR in Pitch Black

I have not used a tubing mascara since the brand Blinc and initially, when I saw I had received this, I wasn't sure if my Asian lashes would respond. Honestly, I still haven't tried it yet at the time of this posting, but I watched a review from Asian YouTuber Mae Sitler who has similar lashes to mine and it looked pretty good on her! I miss being able to just use water to rinse off my mascara so now I HAVE to give this is a try as she commented that this was E.L.F.'s best mascara yet! I will report back! I received a FULL SIZE of this product which retails for $10 CDN.
I really liked this month's bag! Generally, if there are no brushes I am pretty happy. The only brush I will be happy with is a blush brush, but we never get those! The total value of this bag in was $91.72 CDN which was definitely more than what I paid (around $30 CDN) and because I liked this full sizes of the two products that's what made the whole bag worth it!
Was there anything in this month's Glam Bag that had you excited?
