The first Sunday of September and the temperature has cooled off significantly and the sky is dark. Fall has come to Vancouver with a vengeance and while I cannot wait for sweater dress season, saying goodbye to summer and hello to 8 months of rain fills me with a bit a dread as I am not quite ready to embrace it yet. Hopefully September will be kind to us and we will get some more sun. 

Continuing on with JMsolution and their Pokemon series, today we feature Horsea and the Stamp In Panthenol Mask! As this is a mask promoting deep hydration, Horsea makes sense as the featured Pokemon as it is water-based!

What makes this mask special? This mask features panthenol and hyaluronic acid which hydrates the skin deeply and supports the skin's natural repair process. These two ingredients are also right at the top of the ingredients list! And of course, this is a printed mask so while your skin is soaking in all that hydration, you get to be amused!

I just love that JMsolution added this little and very specific fact to their packaging! Like, who is keeping track down to the month? Do they change the months with every run of sheet masks?!

Printed masks have really gotten so much better over the years, but the key thing to making them soft and supple is to only put the print on the cheeks or areas where there isn't much of a contour.

Both sides of the mask were equally cute and the fabric holds a ton of essence so I had a lot left for the rest of my body!

Mask Summary:

What it does: Hydrates deeply for firmer skin

Scent: Lightly floral

Essence Type: Clear, slightly viscous

Duration: 30 minutes

Thickness: Thin-medium

Mask Fit: Pretty good with some wrinkling, but I think this was due to the thickness of the mask, but there was so much essence that everything stayed locked in place.

Tackiness: Medium and in the heat and humidity right now, it was sticky right until I fell asleep.

Hydration: Very intense! Probably will use this mask in the Winter.

Other notes: N/A

Final verdict: Knowing how hydrating this would be, I probably would have saved this mask for the drier winter months, but it did the job and was intensely hydrating well into the next morning!
