So, this is the March Ipsy Bag. I know we are practically in September, but I feel like now that I do Ipsy every other month I don't have as much to catch up on! I also feel like I took a bit of a summer break the last month just enjoying being lazy AF and doing other hobbies that bring me joy. Soon, the rain and cold will come and all I will want to do is stay inside so much of the blogging has gone to the wayside this month. It has been fairly warm for Vancouver these last two weeks and it is expected to be very warm next week which I am not looking forward to. Heat and getting older definitely don't agree with me! Let's move on to the beauty stuff, shall we?

BEAUTY | October 2024 Ipsy Glam Bag

I am well aware that it is June, but hear me out! With the Canada Post strike at the beginning of November, this bag actually arrived AFTER my November Ipsy! Now, with Tariff War 2025 happening, I have slowed down my Ipsy subscription (they only let you skip every other month) in order to avoid the exchange rate and focusing less on American goods. When I did start using the October Ipsy bag I did notice that almost every product felt more suited to NOW than October so it all worked out!

In light of trying to support Canada, I have decided to cut my Ipsy subscription in half and do it every other month. I still get excited when the products arrive as they are all usually new to me so I would still like to have the subscription if I can. I have slowed down on beauty purchases a lot since the beginning of the year as I have been purchasing Pixyls and diamond paintings so I think having a little bimonthly surprise is acceptable!

I promise I will be caught up for you all soon! My August Ipsy Glam Bag arrived at the end of August and it got a little busy for me with life and work, but I never stopped thinking about this Olympic-themed Glam Bag (how it is Olympic-themed, I have no idea...)! Incredibly, I have been enjoying many of the products in the August bag and may even buy one at FULL SIZE!

Another month, another Ipsy Glam bag! I have to say, now that I have less PR coming in and no other subscription boxes, I really enjoy it when the I get my notification that my Ipsy bag has shipped! I feel like this is what it should have felt like back when I was subscribed 10 years ago!

Here ye, here ye! Today we are looking at getting sunkissed and holiday-ready with Ipsy. I know quite a number of people who are either on vacation or honeymooning now in sunny countries so the July Glam Bag is STILL relevant! I loved the neon pink bag that everything came in and how well curated it was so let’s take a look, shall we?

So odd to be posting about June when the gears have already shifted into what’s coming for Fall, but luckily most of the items included in June’s Ipsy Bag can be carried over into the coming seasons. I don’t remember much about June only that I was starting something new career-wise and my brain was somewhat scattered. I DID remember being really excited that Michelle Phan decided to included the Korean brand Laneige in this months’ bag which is something you will never see a North American beauty sub do.

Ipsy | May 2014 “Fresh Picks” Glam Bag

It’s the weekend which means beauty box catch up time! Ipsy is the ONLY monthly beauty subscription that I have decided to keep because I felt that at the price of $14.95 with shipping, the value and excitement level of the products were worth hanging on to. May’s box was getting us all ready for summer which is now sadly almost over, but thankfully most of the products in this month’s bag can still be used year round.
