Purchased by me
It's summer now so when I see a mask with snowflakes on the packaging and a "-7 degrees" in the description, I am IMMEDIATELY interested! Garnier caught my attention yet again with their Cryo Jelly cooling effect sheet mask and I just had to know "how cooling was it?"
What makes this mask special? This mask has a blue-green jelly essence that cools the skin using menthol and hydrates and plumps using hyaluronic acid and glycerin. Apparently this mask will drop your skin temperature by 7 degrees, which I was not able to measure, but for sure there was a sensation that FELT cooler!
On the ingredients side, the featured ingredients are not that high on the list which seems to be a trend for Garnier sheet masks, but I loved the experience regardless of this!
Like last week's Garnier sheet mask, this mask is compostable and vegan which is always a nice little feature! I just hope one day, we can make the sheet mask packaging recyclable too!

The mask fit me really well and the jelly essence wasn't thick and overwhelming like some Korean masks I have tried. The mask material was soft and plush and held onto enough of the essence that made the mask feel "plump". The mask was also very quick to apply to my face and adjust without too much work. The worst is when you have to move things around to make them fit or when the mask goes into your hair.
Mask Summary:
Price: $5.99 CDN (goes on sale a lot though!)
What it does: Cools skin, hydrates and awakens "tired" skin
Scent: Mentholated sweet florals - such a crazy combination I know!
Essence Type: Blue coloured jelly
Duration: 30 minutes. I massively cheated here as the recommended time was 15 minutes, but the areas I saw dryness were parts of the forehead and the moustache.
Thickness: Thin-medium
Mask Fit: Really good! And also easy to fit and adjust to the face quickly!
Tackiness: Light to medium, but I was not sticking to my pillow nor was there fur sticking to my face!
Hydration: Realllly good! Completely forgot to apply moisturizer, but keep in mind that it's summer now!
Other notes: Very minty feeling, but amazingly did not make my eyes water! I loved it! Felt cooling and would be great whenever I have a headache!

Final thoughts: These masks go on sale a lot and the next time they do, I will absolutely pick up more as I LOVE minty masks, but they are hard to find as I think they aren't necessarily for all skin types. I cannot wait to use this again!
You can find the Garnier Cryo Jelly Anti-Fatigue Sheet Mask at all mass drugstores.
