NAILS | Pixyls Rainbow Nail Art #CBBxManiMonday

It was another beautiful weekend in Vancouver at 20 degrees, not a cloud in the sky and a cool breeze from the water. If everyday in summer were this, I would be in heaven! When it starts creeping closer to 30 degrees, that's where you lose me! My husband and I decided to spend our Sunday afternoon at Uniqlo as we had a number of summer basics we wanted to stock up on. I have gained 10lbs since last summer so none of my work summer clothes fit anymore and I was tired of feeling "stuffed" into everything especially as the weather gets hotter!

 

I have been wanting to use my extra Pixyls stickers for months and have been growing out my nails to give them the most amount of surface area and finally, I have done it!

As June is Pride Month, the #CBBxManiMonday theme has always involved rainbows so why not combine them with Pixyls? The stickers still proved to be a little too big for my nails so it was hard to create any real design other than some mini flowers and an attempt at a yellow heart on my ring finger.

The nail polish shades I used were from the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri x Crayola collaboration from almost a decade ago and are still some of the most vibrant, creamy shades I have in my collection! 

Red = Wild Strawberry 

Orange = Sunset Orange

Yellow = Dandelion

Green = Granny Smith Apple

Blue = Cerulean
