Happy first official Fall #CBBxManiMonday! After doing this manicure, I remembered why I don't often do vampy nails - the bloody-looking cuticles. Maybe it works out because Halloween is coming, but I don't think you will see this colour again on my nails...

Originally, I wanted to show off this pretty Chanel purple glitter in the shade Spectaculaire 429 from their Summer collection, but it was pretty sheer so I thought layering it with a vampy purple would really bring out the glitter!

I was on a post scheduling kick last week while I was off and was about to schedule this one, but decided not to as part of what I like about these simple swatch posts is that they capture my mood at present. I was only back at work for all of three days and when I woke up yesterday, I was convinced it was Sunday and I could sleep in. I think I would honestly just rather be out enjoying the sun and being at home with my furbabies, but I do have expensive taste so this gal will probably need to work for at least the next 25 years! 

NAILS | Chanel #536 Emeraude with Bonus Nail Art

There really isn't too much I can say about a Chanel polish so I will let the photos speak for themselves! Emeraude is one of five polishes released as part of Chanel's Summer 2016 collection and was the ONE that I really had to have. Though the shimmer is subtle, the colour reminded me of a jewel glinting in the sun.

Oh dear God. My first Chanel nail lacquer is on my fingernails and all I want to do is hold and angle my hand in a way that shows off this stunning shade. I was stuck in traffic yesterday and I am pretty sure the car next to me knows all about #508 Shantung ($32.00 CDN) as I strategically held the steering wheel for maximum nail viewing.
