BeautyJoint Wallet Damage

Hi Girls!

This is just a quick post on my latest shopping adventure with BeautyJoint. I love getting nail polish and makeup from this site! It’s my resource for NYX products at good prices, which aren’t the easiest to get in BC. Beautyjoint also has a great selection of China Glaze nail polishes (even the Hunger Games collection!) that are quite well-priced. Personally, I just love being able to try out brands like Milani and L.A. Girl that are hard to find. I get so jealous of the US sometimes! When it comes to makeup, I don’t know what I would do if I lived around the corner from a CVS!

Anyway, onwards to the haul! I’ll be more thorough and do swatches later on each product. So, first up is the famous Milani Liquif’eye Eyeliner Pencil in Black. I have heard way too many good things on YouTube about this product to not give it a try!

Next, I picked up some Seche Restore, L.A. Colors Art Deco Striper in Red, L.A. Colors Scented Nail Polish Remover Pads in Lemon and Strawberry and L.A. Girl Glitter Addict in Uninhibited.

For the makeup part of the haul, I picked up three NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils in Sparkle Nude, Strawberry Milk and Purple Velvet, three NYX Slide On Eye Liners in Purple Blaze, Sunrise Blue and Esmeralda and finally two NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams in San Paolo and Amsterdam.

I fell in love with the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil when I received the colour Milk in my December Luxe Box. I find that they don’t really work well alone, but do work well as a coloured eye primer. And the Slide On Eye Liners…sigh…I’ve never been so in love with the smoothness of an eyeliner in my life! And that’s all folks!

  7. Nice haul! You should be able to get LA Colors polish at Fairweather as well. How much is shipping for this site?

    1. Fairweather? That's good to know! Shipping varies, but for this order, the handling fee was $1.00 and the shipping was $5.75. The shipping is quick too, for this and other orders I have done in the past, it hasn't taken more than 10 business days to reach me.

  9. I want that Milani eyeliner so bad! I've heard so many great things about it.
I actually have ordered it online along with some other items, since it said it was in stock, though when it came to finishing the order it says it's on back-order. After two weeks I cancelled it. :(
I'll keep up with this to get your opinion on it.

  10. Great haul! Love that shipping isn't an arm and a leg as well.. I was looking at a US clothing website yesterday that was going to charge me $28 to ship!! Would love to hear your opinion on the NYX lip cream.. I find mine starts to look funny as it wears off.

    1. Once shipping is more than $15, I can't be bothered. $28 is insane! I hear you about the NYX lip cream. I have one in Abu Dhabi which is a nude which looks fine when it wears off, but the more red ones that I got in this order looked a little funny over time...

  11. I'm wondering how the seche restore works. I love seche vite but halfway through the bottle it starts to get really thick!

    1. That's where it got thick for me right at the half way point! I had to add probably 20 drops, but it looks ok again!

    2. Good to know! Thanks Jayne. Now if only I can find a bottle of the Restore here!

    3. They sell NYX at select stores in BC too, but the prices aren't as nice.

    4. The NYX cosmetics site sells the product for more, same with ebeauty. The pricing on Beautyjoint is better.
