Now that water decals have made their way into my nail art life, I cannot get enough of them! I love how seamlessly they blend right into your nail unlike other “topical” nail art extras and how quick and easy they are to use! I recently had the opportunity to review the Audrey Hepurn water decals from KKCenterHk and I was very pleased with the results. I love this iconic Audrey Hepburn pose and knew right away that I had to use a certain China Glaze polish for this nail art manicure!
There are 10 water decals on one sheet with some random white decals in the middle. I didn’t know what they were so I just ignored them. They look like clouds…
There were no instructions for these water decals and if I hadn’t used them before in previous nail art, I probably would have had to look up some directions! I just trimmed off the decals I wanted, soaked them in tap water for about 10 seconds and then used tweezers to position them on my nail.
I started off with two coats of China Glaze-For Audrey! Talk about the perfect polish!
In the spirit of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, I created strands of pearls using a dotting tool and Sally Hansen XTremewear–Celeb City and Sally Hansen XTremewear-White On. I love how it turned out!
The water decals were very easy to use and as you can see blend seamlessly into the nail. They have been great fun to wear because Audrey Hepburn on your nails tends to generate a lot of conversation! The decals look so chic and are so fast to put on! Just make sure to put on top coat and your design is all ready to go! The only thing that I wasn’t too thrilled about is the price of these decals. They are one of the more expensive ones at around $6 for the one sheet so use them sparingly! Overall though, the quality was great and for the novelty of having a celebrity on my nails, I’d totally recommend these!
Thank you for reading and I hope you guys enjoyed the review! KKCenterHk was also kind enough to give my readers 10% off their purchase with the code: cosmeticproof. Happy shopping everyone!
PR sample sent to me for review. All opinion are my own!
Oooh these are a bit more expensive then ones from bornpretty, would you say the quality is any different?
ReplyDeleteNo, the quality is the same so unless you are specifically wanting Audrey Hepburn decals, Born Pretty is a better way to go...
