Topbox | June 2013 “Regular” Edition

It has been such a busy month for me with work that my beauty boxes have been neglected! For June, I once again opted for the regular Topbox as none of the Prive boxes appealed to me and I like the idea of a surprise! Sometimes you might even get a Prive item in your regular edition!

Belvada Cosmetics | Mini Eyelash Curler

Compact and easy to use, this curler will create a natural looking curl.

Thoughts: This is a Canadian brand! I think this is really cute and I love that there is an extra eye lash pad included. I have one already from a past Julep box, but I kind of like this one more! It’s so compact that you really can throw this in your purse!

Benefit Cosmetics | Sugarbomb Ultra Plush Gloss

Silky & luxurious shimmering pinky nude lip gloss.

Thoughts: This is one of the few ultra plush glosses I don’t have so I was quite excited to see it! I have been wearing the Sugarbomb blush quite a fair bit this month, so it's nice to have the matching gloss (even though my lips are still freaking out from my allergic reaction!)

Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics | Fairy Lashes Mascara

A mascara specially formulated to make eyelashes flutter and flap.

Thoughts: Very cute packaging, but I haven’t tried it yet so I don’t know about the results! I actually have resorted to keeping mascaras sealed now until I’m ready to use them because I am accumulating so many within such a short period of time. I have yet to find one that does all the things I want so fingers crossed!

Lise Watier | SOLO Eyeshadow in Bleu Curacao

Fine, lightweight texture.

Thoughts: I have no idea when I’m going to use this colour, so as beautiful as it is, I will need to find it a home! I do like Lise Watier eye shadows and do own a few, so I can say that the quality is certainly there I just wish this was a more wearable colour for me!

Total value of June 2013 Topbox: $56.22

Overall I was quite pleased with the June Topbox even though the eyeshadow colour was not really for me. The Benefit gloss was my favourite and I am curious about the Jelly Pong Pong mascara. How many of you can rock that blue eyeshadow? Lemme know!
