I don't often feature Taiwanese branded sheet masks, but Annie's Way has been one of my favourite brands! Founded by Annie Wu, this brand is known for their wash-off jelly masks and their 100% silk soft sheet masks that focus on gentle, nurturing skincare and protecting the skin barrier by minimizing exfoliation. The Bubble Tea series caught my eye a couple of years ago and when I saw the Mango and Black Tea Bubble Tea Masks on sale at Winners, I knew I had to pick them up because they sounded so delicious!
Mango Bubble Tea Mask
Mask Summary:
Price: $3.99 CDN
Skin concerns: Dryness, hydration
Scent: Like a real, juicy mango!
Essence Type: Slightly watery and clear
Duration: 20 minutes
Thickness: Super thin
Mask Fit: Very good!
Tackiness: Zero. My skin felt super smooth.
Hydration: I needed some additional moisturizer so added a few swipes of La Prairie Creme Extraordinaire.
Other notes: This felt hydrating enough in the summer, but was just not enough moisture for my skin now.
Mask Summary:
Price: $3.99 CDN
Skin concerns: Dryness, hydration
Scent: A little milky like Milk Tea bubble tea!
Essence Type: Slightly watery and clear
Duration: 20 minutes
Thickness: Super thin
Mask Fit: Very good!
Tackiness: Zero. My skin felt super smooth.
Hydration: While, I could have left my skin as is, I did add a bit of the La Prairie Creme Extraordinaire mainly because I am trying to finish it.
Other notes: In the summer, this mask actually felt a bit tacky so I didn't need moisturizer.
Final verdict: There are a lot more bubble tea masks so I have been working my way through my stash so that I can purchase the other "flavours"! I found these masks very enjoyable to use and I like that they are intended to be used within a skincare routine so they don't leave behind a tacky essence.
