NAILS | Velvet Hearts with Cirque Colors "Chemistry" #CBBxManiMonday

I use the month of February to get the heart manicures out of my system because I actually REALLY enjoy them! I also picked up a bunch of magnetic polishes from Cirque Colors as I have now fallen for the velvet nail trend! I was never into magnetic polish before as the cat eye or chatoyancy look never appealed to me, but then I saw an IG video of Cirque Colors "Chemistry" in action and I was so enamoured with how velvety the nails looked! 

Magnetic nail polish application has a bit of learning curve and I realize now that after watching a few videos, I should have waved the magnet over my nails one more time after applying top coat to get the maximum velvet effect, but don't worry, this will not be the last time you see velvet nails on the blog! I applied two coats of "Chemistry" and then one nail at a time, applied a third coat and then held the magnet on all sides of my nails to bring the iron filaments to the surface! It was super fun to watch! The photos really don't capture how velvety my nails look in real life, but I am LOVING them! I then dotted on some red polish hearts with Sally Hansen's "Cherry Delightful" and sealed it all in with a top coat!
