Purchased by me
I am well aware that it is now February 2025 and I am talking about a November Ipsy Bag, but with the Canada Post strike, I did not receive this until last month! I was convinced that it was never going to show up, but what actually happened was that my husband was notified of a package for himself through Canada Post's Flexdelivery and when he got to the post office, they said there was another package for the same address addressed to me. Turns out it was this Glam Bag! I usually get notified, but I am guessing that once CP was mandated back to work, there were packages that slipped through the cracks. I have the December Ipsy Glam Bag to review for you as well as it arrived also last month, but I have decide to pause my subscription for a bit to get through a few products and save the money as the exchange rate is total crap now and I would rather not be spending US dollars if I don't have to.
FEMMUE | Brilliant Cleansing Gel
Ah, a brand I have never heard of which is not uncommon in Ipsy bags as they tend to source some rather niche brands at times. Femmue focuses on "antii-stress" products using "flower therapy" meaning gentle products with flower-based ingredients and formulas that are intended to be layered like a bouquet. The scent of this cleanser was very subtle, but lightly and pleasantly floral. This cleanser is also formulated with blueberry extract and is slightly acidic to maintain skin's pH. The texture was like a jelly and foamed lightly without making my skin *squeak*! I received a deluxe size valued at $6.24 USD.
ANATASIA BEVERLY HILLS | Crystal Lip Gloss in Glass
This looks so pretty in the tube that I am terrified of mucking up this crystal clear gloss with ANY lipstick colour whatsoever! It's not a sticky gloss and leaves a slight shine to the lips while smelling like peaches. It's not as shiny as I was expecting that's for sure. This was fairly large sample size at 3.1mL and considering the full size is 4.8mL, this seems like a very good deal! I received a deluxe sized valued at $12.92 USD.
HUDA BEAUTY | One Coat WOW! Mini Mascara

I was never a big mascara person mainly because I have such thin Asian lashes that most mascaras that promise length and volume for other ethnicities almost never work for me, but lately I have been getting back into them as there have been more mascaras with seemingly nicer brushes and/or formulas? I haven't been able to figure it out! This mascara turned out to be quite good! My lashes looked lifted and stayed that wasy, the brush wasn't massive and blinding and the formula was on the drier side which I prefer. While my lashes didn't look fuller, they did look like I had baby false lashes on! I received a travel size version valued at $13 USD.
ELOISE BEAUTY | Lip Gloss in Berries

This was an extra product as my original bag was lost in transit so Ipsy sent me a replacement and then a few weeks later, my original Ipsy bag arrived. Everything in the bag was the same except for this so I thought I would share it with you anyway. This is not my usual shade of lipstick so I will be gifting it to a friend of mine though I WISH I could pull this off for Fall. I also cannot find this product on the Eloise Beauty website so I have no idea what the pricing is which makes me think it's a discontinued product or maybe one that was deigned for this Ipsy Bag.
SATURDAY SKIN | Carrot + Niacinamide Moisturizing Cream
I like Saturday Skin, but have only used their sheet masks (surprise, surprise) so it was a nice little surprise to receive this moisturizer. It has a very light and pleasant scent, lightweight, but creamy texture and contains carrot extract, ceramides and lipids to hydrate the skin. I received a deluxe version valued at $7.20 USD.
BYOD Blush Brush

While I am not a big makeup brush collector, I do like a good blush brush and this was not one that I enjoyed. This picks up product nicely and deposits it where you want it, but I love my blush brushes to be big and fluffy! I have large cheek apples so I like a larger brush that can get it all done in one swipe versus multiple dabs. I received the full size product valued at $18 USD.
Final verdict: This box probably costs more in Canadian now than it did before Trump started talking about tariffs! Valued at $57.36 USD, yes this bag costs more than what I paid and I actually have now really taken to the Huda Beauty mascara so it has turned out to be an incredibly enjoyable Ipsy Bag!
How has your beauty spending been so far this 2025? I haven't been too bad. I've been sticking to my low buy and really focusing on finishing up older products!
