NAILS | Rainbow Honey My Girl Swatch #CBBxManiMonday

Let's start by saying that my nails have gone through hell and are once again growing back from stumps. One nail was already about to break in this photo, but I sort of patched it up with nail polish. I knew it was only a matter of time though before it fully broke and a few days later that's exactly what happened! I have little nubbins now, but they should be somewhat grown back by next Monday for our month of green. 

 

For today though, I brought out an untried oldie from Rainbow Honey called My Girl which for those of us who grew up with that movie, it was probably the first time we had to deal with the death of a friend and crying in a theatre. I only watched it that ONE time and seeing Macaulay Culkin attacked by bees was enough for me. 

My Girl is a light pink creme polish with micro magenta and gold glitter and some larger hexagonal pink glitter chunks. Two coats was enough for opacity, but in person I found this pink to be very close to my skin tone so it blended right in and I prefer my nails to have some contrast with my skin tone.
