SHEET MASK | Dermovia Rice Sake Sakura Brightening Facial Mask

Dermovia Rice Sake Sakura Brightening Facial Mask Review

Purchased by me

Not gonna lie this was supposed to be up for last week's Sheet Mask Sunday post, but when it came down to sitting and writing about it, I actually couldn't remember what this mask was like. I didn't have overly negative or positive feelings about it, but I guess it doesn't bode well when that happens! I think because sheet masks are generally all fairly similar save for a few very specific things, it is getting harder for me to remember what each is like especially now that I have tried like a thousand of them!

I bought a second set of Dermovia sheet masks at a great price through the Ipsy website also from the Rice Sake line because I could not resist a Sakura Brightening Mask especially with it being cherry blossom season and all!

What makes this mask special? In addition to the super soft fabric, this mask contains niacinamide and rose water right at the beginning of the ingredients list. I am a little weirded out with phenoxyethanol being so high, but at least the featured ingredients are found above it.

I actually really liked the fragrance in this mask as I say it's floral at the bottom, but it's like a subtle sweet floral so I guess like a cherry blossom!

Final verdict: I liked the other Dermovia mask I reviewed more than this one as I felt like my skin was softer. This mask focused more on hydration so my skin was tackier for longer which while not a bad thing, just made me feel like I needed to wait a little longer before going to bed. Still a good mask, but I feel like I have other hydrating and brightening masks that can do the same thing and are easier for me as a Canadian to access.
