Have we all recovered from DST yet and jumping forward? I swear it takes my body SO LONG to catch up now because I can never fall asleep at night, but then wake up feeling like death in the morning. What is exciting (for me) is that BC has decided that this is the last time we will be changing out clocks! We will have permanent DST which I love, but I also understand will be very confusing come November when all the other provinces "Fall Back" and we don't. Well, I guess the time difference will be smaller and maybe easier to work with when it comes to Teams calls for work or chatting with the in-laws!

Today's sheet mask is from a brand I have not worn in awhile - Dermovia! I first got to know them way back in 2017 at Cosmoprof and there they had just launched their literal lace mask (review) which to this day, is still one of the coolest masks I have ever tried because they were REUSABLE!

What makes this mask special? The Rice Sake series is an homage to founders Mariella Scott and Anita Sun Eisenberg's time in Japan. This series is a blend of Japanese beauty traditions with modern skincare. The Matcha Hydration mask contains lavender water, niacinamide, aloe and green tea to soothe redness and inflammation.

The sheet mask material is made of a very thin cotton and while I loved the softness of the fabric, I found the fit a bit strange as it was very long on the sides and very short on my forehead. The eye holes were also those downward slits vs. open circles which meant that the mask sat mere millimetres above my actual eyeball, but luckily no serum dripped in.

Final verdict: Mask fiit woes aside, I really liked the results of the mask! Dermovia does ship to Canada on their website and if there is a promotion, I might bite the bullet as I would really love to have their lace masks again!
