Purchased by me (I feel like 90% of things are purchased by me at this point, but I guess for consistency?)
I have been on a total fragrance kick the last two years and though I normally find many of Dior's fragrances to be on the more serious side, when I saw the notes and packaging for the new Dior Addict EDPs, I was delighted to see something lighter and more fruity for the Spring and Summer season!
I have been on a total fragrance kick the last two years and though I normally find many of Dior's fragrances to be on the more serious side, when I saw the notes and packaging for the new Dior Addict EDPs, I was delighted to see something lighter and more fruity for the Spring and Summer season!

There are three fragrances: Peachy, Purple and Rosy Glow coming in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml sizes. In terms of scent intensity, these would be a little more than Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, but less than say J'Adore or the new Miss Dior Essence. All three scents are fruity and lean sweet so if this does not sound appealing to you, I would pass on these unless you want to have the bottles as beautiful dresser decoration.

I will have a hard time getting rid of these beautiful boxes, which I know are part of the $137 price tag, but their beauty will forever be preserved in this photo and in this post!

I will start off with probably the most popular of the three scents - Rosy Glow. This has notes of Damascus Rose essence, bright lychee all wrapped in a creamy accord reminiscent of dulce de leche. When sprayed on the blotter, this seemed much sweeter, but on me it wears down to more of a creamy scent and as a vanilla lover, this is my most worn of the three Glow EDPs.

Peachy Glow is an interesting one because it taps into the "peach fuzz" note of jasmin absolute combined with vanilla whipped cream. I found this one to be sweeter that Rosy Glow initially, but on dry down on my skin, I end up with a more vanilla scent. I find I have to be in the mood to wear this one as I am not always into peach, but I feel like as we get closer to the summer, I might enjoy it more!

Purple Glow is the floral of the group with Tuscan Iris and candied raspberry that evokes the feelings of florals dusted with powdered sugar. I found this fragrance to be the deepest and most multi-dimensional of the three and while initially I didn't like how floral the scent started, it wore down to a subtle sweetness that I enjoyed!
Final verdict: While the initial intensity of the scents wears down in a few hours, even at the end of the day, there is a hint of a note still left. Rosy Glow would be the easy one to enjoy, but for something more sophisticated, definitely give Purple Glow a try!
