Purchased by me
In all fairness, I took these photos in February and had every intention of getting this up before April, but here we are - it's April! I actually just signed up for the yearly Ipsy subscription as they raised their prices, but allowed subscribers to lock in the old yearly price if it was done by the end of March and after some hemming and hawing, I decided to let myself have a fun, little monthly surprise!
REALHER | Highlighter in Pure Resolve
This is super silky, champagne coloured highlighter that looks super natural when blended onto the skin. I actually quite like the colour as even if you think you have applied too much, you really haven't! I received the FULL SIZE of this product worth $21 USD. Though I feel like I have used a similar highlighter through Essence for like $4...
TATCHA | Longevity Serum
This sample size of Tatcha's newest serum was SO CUTE! The Longevity Serum supports skin strength and cellular resilience using Okinawa Cellescence Complex (delays signs of aging) and bioactive lipids to plump skin and reduce the look of fine lines. The serum has a slight gel texture and does feel "plump" upon application. I received a deluxe size of this product worth $18.67 CDN (my my this is pricey!).
KORRES | Apothecary Wild Rose Brightening Sleeping FacialI used to use a ton of Korres products when they were available through Shoppers Drug Mart and when I was on their PR list, OMG 10 years ago, but now things are different in both the blogger space and where Korres is carried so I actually love seeing their products show up in my Ipsy bags. For this month, we have a sleeping mask that thankfully feels a lot more like a moisturizer and sinks right into the skin. It contains ingredients like vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and wild rose oil to tone skin, boost radiance and hydrate the skin. The texture is kind of fluffy, but melts right into the skin! I received a deluxe size sample of this product worth $27.50 USD (wow that's a little crazy!).

I have used Girlactik before in the form of a face luminizer and liked the formula so I actually chose this product to be in my Ipsy bag this month! I am a bit of a foundation junkie and was ready for a lightweight tint style foundation like this one and it actually is really good, but the shade is sadly a little too dark for me. The formula is like a step up from a tinted moisturizer with better coverage and I am hoping that once I use my self-tanner, this foundation will be a better match for my skin! I received a deluxe size sample of this product worth $13 USD.
I know that ELF is all about doing good dupes for things so I was hoping and praying that this would be a great dupe for the Tarte Juicy Lip Plumps and I was pleasantly surprised! It has a slight tingly feeling (which I enjoy) though I don't love the light coconut scent. This shade is a wee bit too pink for me, but I will definitely be picking up either a more mauve or nude shade the next time I am at London Drugs! I received the FULL SIZE of this product worth $11 CDN.
AMIKA | The Wizard Silicone-Free Detangling Primer
Every month Ipsy has a number of really amazing products and brands that you can get for great prices, even with the exchange rate! I have gotten some incredible deals on full and deluxe sized products and though this Amika product was not part of my original Ipsy Bag, I was able to add this to my Ipsy Bag shipment for $3.50 USD. This has a value of $11.50 CDN so I think I did OK! I just wanted to give this a try as a heat protector and to see if it would actually be a good detangler for my hair and so far, it's OK. I'm glad I didn't buy the full size or even the "mini size" for $23 CDN/60mL.
DANESSA MYRICKS | Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder - Flushed Matte Color Cheek and Lip

This was also an add-on to my Ipsy Bag for $3.50 USD and I am glad I only have this in the mini size because I don't think I'm going to use it as much as I thought, but I can understand why people like them. The formula is very creamy so at least with this smaller size, I won't feel as bad if/when it dries it since I opt for powder blush more often. For a full size of this product, it is $36.50 CDN/6g so the 3g size I bought is worth $18.25 CDN!
Final verdict: The total value of this bag was $115.28 CDN which I think is quite inflated as I don't think a lot of the samples were worth quite that much, BUT I did like the products I received so the price of happiness? Priceless!
Now, let's see what we've got for February!
