BEAUTY | October 2024 Ipsy Glam Bag

October 2024 Ipsy Glam Bag
Purchased by me

I am well aware that it is June, but hear me out! With the Canada Post strike at the beginning of November, this bag actually arrived AFTER my November Ipsy! Now, with Tariff War 2025 happening, I have slowed down my Ipsy subscription (they only let you skip every other month) in order to avoid the exchange rate and focusing less on American goods. When I did start using the October Ipsy bag I did notice that almost every product felt more suited to NOW than October so it all worked out!

SHEET MASKS | Top 11 Sheet Masks for 2019

Some PR samples featured and will be marked with an "*"

2019 was definitely the year of the sheet mask with many brands surprising me with ones of their own. I made a list of all of the sheet masks that I tried this year (yes, there were a lot!) and these 11 sheet masks were the ones that stood out so let's get started!

SHEET MASK | Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Sheet Mask #100DaysofSheetMasks

Oh, the lovely Tatcha. This was one of the first truly beautiful skincare brands I came across when I first started blogging and in 2011, Tatcha was still relatively new to the skincare scene having only launched just two years prior. Their philosophy, packaging and products were new to the North American market and to this day, though they have some stiff competition in skincare, I still find the whole Tatcha experience to be quite Zen and almost romantic from opening up the packaging to using the product. While there are a few Tatcha products I enjoy, today's feature is all about the Luminous Dewy Skin Sheet Mask!

SKINCARE | Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Review

I picked up my very first Tatcha item back in 2013 and right away fell in love with Victoria's story and Tatcha's philosophy which is rooted in Japanese skin principles. At the time, Tatcha was only available online for Canadians, but it was only in the last year that I started seeing Tatcha on the Sephora Canada website. I have hopes that eventually the entire line will be available for us (sans the SPF items of course) because paying duty and shipping from the US gets painful. If you have not tried Tatcha before, a good place to start is in the cleanser/toner step as the serums and moisturizers are quite a step up in price.

Winter 2012 Loose Button Luxe Box

Aren’t Luxe Boxes are so much more exciting now that they make us wait for them! It’s true that patience truly does make the heart grow fonder! I liked my Fall Luxe Box, but when I saw what other girls had gotten I was less excited. For this season, I had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I loved everything I received as well as the slightly revised packaging with all the products being contained in a silky sachet with the Loose Button logo printed on the corner.
