You should hopefully see more of me here over the next week as I am on vacation for my birthday as I do every year. I always like staying in the city as the weather is usually quite nice (as I say this there are big black ominous clouds outside) and lots of celebrations for Canada Day (that's my birthday!) so you can see why it's a bit more fun to stay local. I am also a true homebody and I love spending time with my cats in true cat lady fashion.

It's kind of nice having an open-ended theme for the month because I actually couldn't decide which of these shades to wear as a base colour so I decided it was time to do a skittles manicure and wear them all! I always have a hard time using all the colours in a collection, but OPI's Big Zodiac Energy really had some gorgeous shades that I kept going back to over the last few months so I felt sad that there were a few neglected. Also, my middle finger was supposed to be green, but the polish was a bit too translucent hence the switch. I realize now that my last three fingers look very patriotic, but I did not mean to be!

NAILS | BCD NAIL ART CHALLENGE WEEK 11 - The Blue Skittlette #BCDNAILS

This week's BCD Nail Art Challenge was a bit of a well, challenge for me as skittle nails are not my forte. Skittle essentially refers to the having a different nail design on each nail, but with a unifying colour scheme or theme. I am SO NOT GOOD AT THIS, but seeing as how the new OPI Alice Through the Looking Glass collection was out, I thought I'd try to cook something up with a few of the new shades!
